The Soft Surfaces Group story
The Soft Surfaces Group is a UK surfacing contractor that grew out of playground and sports work in 1997 and has installed resin, rubber and specialist surfaces up and down the country ever since. That Resin Stuff is the part of it that does one thing: resin bound driveways and surfacing, and does it to a single standard.
Keeping resin under its own name is deliberate. A driveway is a different job from a school play area, with its own detailing around edges, drainage and kerb lines, and it deserves a team that lays resin week in, week out rather than now and then. The group gives that team the backing of a long-established contractor: the same registered office in Wilmslow, the same insurance and accreditations, and nearly three decades of knowing what lasts outdoors in a British winter.
Since 1997
Experience is the part of a resin driveway you cannot see in a sample. We have been laying outdoor surfaces for 29 years, long enough to have met every ground condition, drainage quirk and tired old base the UK can offer, and to know what to do about each one.
That history is why we survey before we quote. A surface that looks simple on a brochure behaves differently over clay, over an old concrete raft, or on a slope that has to shed water. Years on real sites are what let us read which of those you have and build the right base underneath, which is the half of the job that decides how long the finish lasts.
It is also why the group can stand behind its guarantees. A new trader cannot promise a surface will still look right in a decade. A company that laid surfaces a decade ago, and can still go and look at them, can.
